Contact a manufacturer authorised repairer, otherwise if you play with it it'll probably get locked and need this doing anyway.
They usually check the serial number do some electronics and give you a new code and your good to go. Mind you, if it has done what you describe I'd call it a design fault.... |

Might be worth checking if your under warranty or not too? Depends on the docs you had with it and how long you've had it for though.
An authorised dealer worth their salt should know exactly what to do with it or failing that have contacts to sort it out. Chances are it won't cost you much at all unless there is actually something wrong which I doubt. |

They replaced the entire unit - report sheet mentioned failed touchscreen, digitiser, etc and several other faults. But they are history now ....
