2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 CSW Keswick Green

Help! Where are the speaker wires?

Hi I have a new defender 90 - bought without stereo or speakers. I am now fitting Alpine and Focal units using DIN adaptor from MUD. However just cannot find speaker wires at the speaker outlets - did LR not fit them. have seen a Battersby thread where in similar situation he located wires - but I am having no luck

Never assume anything is pre wired ready for upgrades later.

I had a hard top (very base spec) and you had to add it all yourself, they don't seem to fit one loom that is ready to plug it all into. 2016 D4 HSE

When buying my 110 I initially specified a base model and one of the available upgrades was wiring for a radio. So they don't come pre-wired for a radio by default, that's an upgrade.

I would be surprised if the factory are fitting different looms between models now days

they are usually trapped up behind the dash you will have to unscrew the grab handle to get to them couldnt tell you exactly where they are trapped but they are there

2014 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Keswick Green

I fitted speakers to 2014 defender and the speakers wires were taped up under the dash left and right and I accessed the wires via the speaker blank plate.....If you put your hand up via the speaker hole you will eventually locate the connector..
