Even Alastair Campbell couldn't spin a good story out of this one. I could understand if they had been 'ragging it' to the scene of a toppled cone, but in a service station is quite an achievement. Maybe too many doughnuts? Or maybe it was trying to match the legendary grip and cornering ability of a Defender? Whistle Monsieur Le Grenadier

Ooooh dear.

Almost certainly 100% human error, wonder if they kept their job... Question

If there was any chance of saving that vehicle (although probably slim)
it was lost on the recovery... Shocked

Thanks Skip. I cannot believe our taxes pay for these people. Big Cry

I am not sure which is worse, crashing in a Service Station or the recovery? Is the latter a recognised technique? Maybe the driver was determined to get it 'written off' so that he could upgrade to a Q5 or Disco4? Whistle Monsieur Le Grenadier

Seen that on FB. Not sure if true, but apparently he tried to go up the really high curb on the left to stop, but it took him to high on one side and over she went!

Though that pic doesn't look to high, unless he tried it at speed?

People also state that the recovery technique is in fact one of the methods in their books. Not sure on this one myself.

Maybe...you never know what was on his mind...not safe driving techniques I think it is fair to assume... Exclamation

Let's hope he doesn’t get the keys to...
