Help with removing XS front set covers
Hi

I'm trying to fit a new heated seat pad to one of my front seats (old one ceased to function over winter and I've found that I've missed it when it's cold!). All the videos say that the seat cover should just peel back, but when I try to do this the front of the cover seems to be fastened into two horizontal wires on both sides.

I could try to push the new heated pad up without removing the cover, but the space is very restricted and it'll be hard to get it stuck down correctly.

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Mike

Do you mean the backrest? I tried to do mine about a year ago. The cover is fastened on with 'hog rings' i didn't actually take mine all the way off but there's a load of them going up the backrest. 1953 80"

Thanks Mr_James - must be the hog rings. Might see if I can snip them off without a special tool and might consider replacing them with cable ties...

A job for next weekend.

Cheers

Thanks Clive - I had seen this and the cover just pulls up and off, which mine certainly doesn't do. All down to hog ties...
