'Go Beyond' may be able to advise as he retrims seats. Drop him a 'pm' perhaps? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Do you mean the backrest? I tried to do mine about a year ago. The cover is fastened on with 'hog rings' i didn't actually take mine all the way off but there's a load of them going up the backrest. 1953 80"

Thanks Mr_James - must be the hog rings. Might see if I can snip them off without a special tool and might consider replacing them with cable ties...

Thanks Clive - I had seen this and the cover just pulls up and off, which mine certainly doesn't do. All down to hog ties...
