Series 3 2.25 twin SU conversion
My dad is currently rebuilding a Series 3 and wanted twin SUs being unable to find a suitable manifold he made his own

it starts runs smoothly and revs up well waiting bodywork for a proper work out and tune up DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

are they 1.5 inch

Does it have balance tube between the 2 carbs

yes 1.5s of an MGB, manifold is made up from 2 MGB manifolds and 2 off 2.25 landy ones retains balance pipe and crankcase vent system etc, revs up pretty quick only other engine mod is a tubular exhaust manifold and straight through silencers, doesn't sound much like a landy

Should be good set up when tuned etc

Lots of people dont know that su,s dont like pulsing air intake , they often need a balance tube , so never get them running quite right
my late dad fitted a weber on his series 3 , plus ported and polished the head + electronic ign set up made big difference
