SVX Dual Finish look nice with black, good contrast. Having said that, they give the truck an urban/city look, so depends if that's what you are after. Have you decided in the end Lambley? MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

^^^ Not yet!!
TBH I don't think I'll ever decide on what I like best because my goalposts seem to change each time I walk past my 90. I don't dislike the Zu's, they fit the bill but I just fancy a change. I like the SVX's, agreed they do give it more of a city looking vehicle but I suppose it depends on the tyres too. I love the Bowlers, they are top of my list but I'm a tight wallet, both black and anthracite below, plus I'd like these from LRI but I think the 245 tyres are a bit 'slim' and they are £1200 for 4 K9f will no doubt have something to say about resurrecting this thread! Agreed, the right tyres do make the SVX alloys look a little more aggressive, only just changing from 235 to 265 makes a difference in appearance. Sth I'm tempted to do at some point, my only worry is that the mpg will go down as I do long journeys, but that's a separate discussion.
The 16 Bowlers are definitely my next favourite wheels, they look fab and would probably be the only ones that I would exchange SVX's for in my case. Mainly, because I feel they are a very good quality alloys being Bowler. Lambley - be brave - be different - why not set a new trend and mix-n-match with five different ones! Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Proud owner 110 Utility XS Ex RR Sport HST V8 Ex Td5 90 |
