I've just realized that you have changed the wheels by computer and keeping the same types in the same place . That's awsome mate . I don't have a clue how to do that technical stuff and would have jacked it up 4 times to get my pics |

If ya're into O.E. like me, the SVX wheels are very good, but apart from them, it'd be the grey sawtooths.
One thing that I do like about the SVX wheels is that they are "domiciled" Defender. I reckon that black wheels with "black" is too much "black",....ya need a bit of contrast to break it up. Pickles. |

I fancied black wheels on my stornoway 90 and got a mate in the wheel refurb game who would do them for next to nothing .
but so many cars are getting black wheels nowdays I might have to have a rethink |

I'm with pickles on this. SVX and then grey sawtooth. I'm of a certain age where your wheels had contract with the car. My defender nut daughter however loves black. See, that didn't help did it |

Sawtooths are becoming as regular as boosts on Defenders. Stick with the ZUs. Really depends on what look you are trying to achieve, the ZUs look the most 'purposeful.' If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! Last edited by K9F on 19th May 2015 8:23am. Edited 1 time in total |

Thinking about the sawtooths for my black 90 at the moment and had decided on the black, now I have seen what the grey ones look like I think I prefer them.

I was about to click go on black sawtooths and 265/75/16 BFG ATs but now this thread has caused me to rethink. Mine's a 110 USW and so kind of similar and as others have said I think the black sawtooths are a bit too black.
Now favoring the grey sawtooths but as I have the dual finish on mine already perhaps just the tyres and 30mm spacers may give me the looks I need. I do love white wolf wheels. Given it was so easy to photoshop these any chance you could try the white wolfs? Thanks Craig 2015 110 USW XS in Santorini with premium contrast leather seats in tan/black, black headlining and with Dual Finish alloys (in the garage, now on Wolf rims with Goodyear MT/Rs) 2012 '62' 2.2 X-Tech 110 USW now gone ... 1984 90 soft top with full roll cage, 200 tdi engine etc now sold 2012 USW XS 2.2 "FUU" now gone.... |
