As said before it's normal. Mine has done it from new, it's a side effect of the basic electronics. I believe the system detects when there is a lower impedance connected, ie extra trailer lights. When normal incandescent bulb filaments are cold they take a switch on surge hence triggering the trailer warning. It then goes out when the bulb is on and its power consumption has dropped. Jonno |

Fit LED indicators and associated relay and it goes away...
