![]() You don't need longer studs for wolf wheels, for most vehicles it wont make a difference, on earlier vehicles it will leave the last 1-2 threads of the nut un-used which looks like they are loose. as long as they are torqued up correctly and checked regularly they will be fine. I believe if you do have the 60mm studs you need to swap them out for shorter ones to fit alloys as the wheel nuts are different (I cant say for certain though as I have never fitted alloys to a defender) Hope that helps somewhat ![]() Self confessed mileage hunter ![]() |

2014 model I have can take both the wolf hd steel rims and the skinny original wheels on the std factory studs. No need for changing the studs.
