United States 1994 Defender 90 300 Tdi CSW Epsom Green
Hello from an Old Forum member
Hi ladies and Gentlemen of the awesome Defender2.net forum,

Just thought I would drop by and say Hi. Been a while since I sold my defender and I miss it every single day. I have no emigrated to South Carolina.
Just picking up my brand new ride and thought you'd might like to laugh or like...which ever is fine. I am happy and I got it for significantly less that the cost of a base model Defender.

Its a Toyota Tundra Platinum 5.7litre V8. This thing is fully loaded with everything you could want and more.

The weather is beautiful and I am not really missing the cold and rain of the UK......

Hope you are all well.......I would still swap this for a decent Defender but as they cost the earth out here I will stick with this.

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green  The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead.

Hi ipints, good to see all is well. There are worse places in the world to move to than South Carolina. Cool Reminds me of our pre-Geneva days, when we lived in Connecticut. Smile And I was also driving a 5.7L V8, but that was then a wonderful 5.7L Hemi in a Grand Cherokee. We even shipped that one over with us to Geneva, but at about 15 liters/100km, we sold it as soon as we were allowed to sell it by the authorities. Laughing
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

What a coincidence, I just learned of friends moving from Texas to SC - and they don't have a Defender either Mr. Green

To be fair, I love my Country, but if I was moving to the States - I'd probably get a big ass pick up too Thumbs Up New project and it's green: www.projectoverland.info

I can confirm that it is indeed a bit chilly and quite wet in Oxfordshire at the moment.

Like the truck. A little bit subtler than the Ford and Dodge offerings!
