Hi Guys,
I'm hoping to change my wing looms as the previous owner has transformed them (and not for the better) into something quite spectacular. Think throwing bullet connectors into a birds nest and that will give you a good idea of what its like. I will hold my hand up to adding a Red bison loom to this but that was done sensibly following the instructions (photos to come later when laptop is capable  )
So, I have got in contact with Dan at Duckworths to see if he can track me down a front left and front right wing loom so I can replace it from plug to plug. However, I have no idea how to get to it to change it as it doesn't feature in my workshop manual 
I imagine you need to take the side of the wing off to gain access (good time to fit that webasto too!) but has anyone done this before? What am I to expect? Any special tooling? Will it be quicker to remove the wing complete and then strip down off the vehicle or try and keep it as intact as possible? Thoughts as always welcome

You can do the wing looms working from the engine bay, though whipping the headlights out is probably helpful. No special tools or skills needed!

if your going to do it without removing plastic arch , good idea to tie string to ends pull loom through then tie to new one and pull back through with string
