Off road trailers
Is there any manufacturer who makes new trailers which are suitable for towing off road. Something similar to a sankey with plenty of ground clearance.
Looking for something that won't ground out in ruts and that has the same track as a 90 that will be used to carry logs.
May get a local trailer company to make one, but would like to see something similar first to compare and to make sure it is suitable for the job.

Can I ask what you decided? I don't want to go down the snaky route and using an IWT as a base seems like the best idea - at the moment anyway. single axle with 16" wheel option or twin axle? 2.2 Tdci 110 XS CSW Corris Grey

Am I the only one who thinks that is unbelievably expensive for a trailer chassis?!

It's not cheap, but decent quality purpose built kit rarely is.
There are a couple of trailers on ebay for £10k plus. So it's a good base to be begin with, if you have the time and money to finish it. Sankey trailers do the job, but they're initially really heavy and don't meet the usual towing laws...
Because a NATO hitch isn't as safe as your Halfords tow bar Laughing

If you have a desire to build one, or want some ideas, grab a coffee and have a look here...
