I have this mine. its a bit fiddly until you work out where stuff goes. The bottom goes behind the bulkhead removal bars. but in front of the bracket. pictures here showing the left hand side looking from the back.
Click image to enlarge The top section goes agains the reader side of the bracket, screwing in from the front. Click image to enlarge The bottom of the top pic sits on the bottom piece, forward of the screw brackets. Click image to enlarge Do everything up real loos to start, then tighten it up. If all else fails take the brackets that are in there out, and use the proper ones. |

I just don't see how you've managed to put the dog guard in front of the bracket on the wheel arch and yet at the same time behind the tubular bar.
