Is the dash clock meant to be back-lit on a 2011 Puma or is that way too 'Avant garde'? Same question for the Hazard switch.
Neither of mine light up and I was wondering if they were meant to and have the same (now blown/broken) fuse or electrical feed? I know I pretended to have X-Ray and Night Vision whilst in the Army, but this is taking the p**s. Thanks in advance for any help. They should light up when the lights are on.

Hazard switch light bulb can burn out. Bulbs are available from rimmerbros. You can read it all in below thread where PaulMc enlightened me.
Eric http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic12482....light+bulb You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

That's a LR part, not specific to Rimmer Bros - STC1205
But in answer to the original question, yes both the clock and the hazard switch should backlight. The triangle is backlit red on the switch. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Brilliant, thank you all. Seems a surprisingly common fault. And thank you Eric for the previous thread, now I know how to get to the switch to check. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Undo the four torx screws holding it in and without the holder you will see where the bulb holder is

There is an LED for this now you can fit off eBay to fit in.
I have one, but annoyingly I replaced with a regular one before it was avilable. So for now I keep it on the shelf until such a time I may take the dash out. No Guts, No Glory.

When I replaced the bulb in my clock I cut the corner off the holder so next time I need to change the bulb it will be easier๐

I brought the led one, when I tried to fit it it would not stay in like the origional one and did not make good contact so I reverted back Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |
