2005 Defender 110 Td5 SW Barolo Black
Wow. This worked.

I had the same issue. Stopped heater got cold. Moving heater warmed up. I checked the hoses. Empty. Check the coolant tank. Empty. Added 2 litres of water. Opened the valve with a flat head screw driver. Kept filling the tank. Left the cap
Off the tank. Started the engine. Waited 3min. It bubbled at the bleeder valve. Squeezed it a bit. Tightened the bleeder valve and then the tank cap. Perfect!!!!
