Making up a dedcated wiring loom that feeds the headlights directly from the battery (via a relay naturally) will make a considerable improvement to the light output too.

Osram Nightbreaker + Wipac clear bowls made the prefect change for me. Really happy with the output of light and not too much money to spend.
It also looks very original which is important for me. I drive a lot early in the morning and late at night on twisty pitch black roads and the output from this combination is ideal for me 2002 Td5 | 90 County Station Wagon | Oslo Blue 2006 Td5 | 90 County Station Wagon | Tonga Green (Gone ) 2002 Td5 | 90 County Station Wagon | Zambezi Silver (Gone) |

Someone should mention Osram Nightbreakers
They are great, and don't forget relays... or your light switch will melt at some point. |

Try two of these. 10 x brighter than the OEM lights, and very cheap.

I've been fitting night breakers to customers vehicles (and my own) for a while now from advanced factors. Phoned up to order some more last week and steve told me the ring equivalent bulbs are better and they're going to drop the night breakers in favour of hem. I've got 10 sets arriving so as soon as they're fitted I'll let you know
