When I had mine fitted it was about 1500ish all-in.
Mine was mounted on the side of the cubby box, but a better idea would have been to move the lid back and mount the tacho inside the cubby. The lid being moved back leaves a gap so you can see the unit, you MUST be able to see the unit when driving. You will need to add a tachograph warning light with the drivers field of vision if mounting the tacho in the cubby box area
