If it's that easy why does it take about 7 hours to remove dash, replace aircon evaporator, replace dash?
AlanH.

Stripping down the AC system is probably the time consuming part of that.

The dash it's self is surprisingly easy. The hardest part is taking the steering wheel and column switiches apart.

It's stuck at the base by the gear leaver / heater matrix etc !

Any suggestions ?
Have all the screws along the bottom edge of the dash been removed? There aren't any fixings in the lower centre it just sits over the tunnel.

Wales 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SW Tonga Green
Thanks all . I managed to get it out , and more importantly I found the loose wire , fixed it and put it all back together , and no spare parts left over . Thumbs Up

It was fiddly but once done , it went back remarkably easy .
Thanks for the advice Bow down Bow down Defender 90 Tonga green . My 2007 County .2.4Tdci puma .
Too many other Discos to mention, including a V8 petrol Disco3 and diesel Disco 3 !! ( All gone)
