Take the clear lens off and there are a couple of screws inside IIRC

Start by carefully wiggling a flat bladed screwdriver in the slots font and back which will pop the frosted bit off.
There are two 13mm (IIRC, they might be 10mm) nuts that hold the lamp unit on to a backing plate that clamps on to the headlining. There's a plug that takes permanent 12V and switched earth from the 10AS to the unit (purple and purple/white wires) and I can't remember off the top of my head what happens to the earth, I think it might just plug straight on to the backing plate. My memory's going, I only did it three weeks ago ![]() When re-fitting it it's very easy to short the 12V feed to something and it's really fiddly to get the backing plate back in and lined up properly. Once you do it all just slots happily in to position. If once you've put it back together again the clock stops working and the light doesn't work, you've blown the fuse. |
