A quick Fix
Some of us here, me included have had front bumpers replaced under warranty due to paint flaking off underneath followed by subsequent rusting. To avoid this happening in the first place simply run a length of Duck Tape or similar stuff along the lower lip of the bumper folded across it. This should stop any lifting of the paint at the edge and subsequent water ingress beneath the paint. It will also work for the cross member beneath the vehicle which suffers from the same problem. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
