Where did you get them? Or we're they made specifically for you, as I've only seen silicone ones advertised.
I'm thinking of cleaning out inlet manifold too as the egr has well and truly made a mess inside!
Every little helps!! 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Tell me about it.... Laughing
Had a complete nightmare trying to get the silicone unions to fit due to limited access and non-flexibilty of the stainless pipes. Became a battle of wills between me and the unions. Perseverance prevailed in the end.

So much less complicated without airconditioning.

Too right sir. The only things to remove and adjust were the front cross struts (not shown in the pics) - but the thought of fitting a hard pipe kit to the FMIC would not be my idea of fun. It only took a few minutes for the silicone kit to be fitted but a hard pipe kit - that's a different ball game all together. You did well Smile - Andrew -

I have noticed a slight drop in running temperature, my needle sat exactly half way before.
Now runs just slightly under.

When payday arrives I'm having an Alive re map then I am hoping the large square blingy thing will give me a return on the investment Whistle

I'm running on standard hoses at the moment too, is it worth the extra for the silicone hoses?
I suppose at the end of the day if you've spent that much may as we'll go the whole hog?

Ian, I picked up the hoses for £35 (delivered) as they were shop soiled. The original cost was £85 but no one in their right mind would pay that type of money for banana-yellow silicone.

Like you I now need a remap to help mate the new hybrid turbo with the right air-fuel mixture etc. The 5-ply silicone hoses will hopefully make for a much more rigid system which is less effected by pressure fluctuations. - Andrew -
