So perhaps its time to order a really nice specced Keswick Green 90... complete with A/C too! AND have some decent change left over as well! I know know why the parent company is called 'TA TA'... that translates to 'Goodbye'! YOLO... You Only Live Once... Last edited by YOLO110 on 1st May 2015 7:46am. Edited 1 time in total |

It may be so, but it is not all about AirCon, although the way JLR are treating UK customers over that and other issues is a major factor... To be honest, as I mentioned to JLR's office, all of the excitement and anticipation I felt on placing my deposit has dissipated over e last few weeks and I cannot see that returning! Much as I absolutely love the colour, there are things I could do without and, in fact, would find difficult to live with in a daily commuter, so I would be better off speccing up a truck of my choice, if I am going to do it at all now... But the demand for the heritage has been very strong. Almost sold out in the first few days. So I'm sure the demand on the 2nd hand market will be strong too. Keeping prices firm.

The true value for a defender is what it means to you. I think that the heritage is pretty much spot on for my needs, compliments the 110 perfectly. Ideally, air con would have been good but not essential. I think that when its chugging around the roads it will draw attention. I am really looking forward to getting mine.

2nd sales prices will probably be no different than other specs. Strong presales demand as a result of limited numbers & all sorts of demand from non-LR customers will fall away once the next shiny thing comes along.
These types of owner will also be the first to sell when the new one comes along. More informed LR owners will know what they are getting into & keep longer term. |

Used values of the heritage will without doubt hold up better than standard models.
Only 400 made for the UK, all sold out virtually instantly with many people on dealer waiting lists for any cancelations. There may be a few available nearly new from speculators when they are finally released onto the market but I for one will be hanging on to mine. |

I agree. Also the fact that everybody always has a view on which model they prefer. Be it 90SW, HT or 110SW. I`d say 100 HT, 150 90SW and 150 110SW will be produced so that really is quite a limited run of each variation

Interesting...
I probably would have 'guessed' 250 90 SW, 75 90 HT and 75 110 SW... Perhaps our learned JLR insider can put some real numbers on it? YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

I think the split maybe 150HT, 150 90SW, and 100 110SW but not for the first time I could well be wrong.
