Hi David that does look smart, best place I have seen thus far. Does the mount come with it? like one suitable to attach to the instrument screen like you have. If not can you provide derails please.

thanks My Defender and travels

Pob- yes they're all universal. However what gauges you can view are obviously limited by what the car is sensing about it self. TDci defenders have nearly all the available ones.

Lee- not sure yet, only made one short journey since I got it. Will post back some initial temps when I've driven it more but on a short journey I think it was around 76-82.C on A roads etc.

Newhue- thanks, very happy as I said. Think I managed to fit it fairly tidily. When you buy it from their website, it gives you a choice as to what mounting options you want. The one I have is the "vertical surface mount" which seems very good. You can get windscreen mounts, horizontal mounts and Velcro options etc etc Cheers, David

No problems at all, any questions just ask- but it's very easy really. Their website 'support' section is good too

Thanks David.........

Just a quick update on temps...

Once up to temperature the lowest temp I saw was 76.c and the highest was 84.c. Did about 10 mins on a motorway at ~75mph and sat about 79/80.C - lots of airflow I guess.

The highest temperatures I saw (83/84) were when slowing down to 30 from 60/70 getting off the motorway. Cheers, David

If you put it there on a 2.2 then I guess it blocks the warning lights for the DPF? Does anyone know if the ultra gauge itself would flag up a dpf issue?
