I think the minimal thickness depends on your wheelstuds as you will tighten the spaces with your original studs and your wheel will be thightened on the studs build in the spacers.

There is a bit of room though .... Here's a picture of some 30mm fitted to my friends truck - you can see you could take some width out ...... Click image to enlarge I have seen some 25mm ones for sale in the past - just not finding them now. There are thinner ones - but not hub centric, which I want.
