A favour from someone with 110 4/5door please..
Morning, just going a dry run install of my rebuilt rear tub and sills/b-pillars onto my new chassis. As i have ended up changing so many parts, i have now lost my reference points unfortunately. I want to try and make sure everything fits before it gets painted though so i can avoid having to modify too much at that point.

What i am struggling with is the interface between the C-pillar and the rear tub sides. Would someone be able to take a few photos of the interface between the C-pillar, tub and rear capping just inside the rear door please? It would be mega helpful if someone could confirm a few dimensions for me too please:

1. Depth of the return which the second row door seal fits onto at the C-Pillar (below the level of the capping).
2. Second row LH Door Aperture size (B-pillar to C-pillar)
3. Second row RH Door Aperture size (B-pillar to C-pillar)

Would be very grateful if someone would be willing to help out please?

Thanks,
Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread

Hi Steve, hope this helps, from my 2002 Td5 CSW. Excuse the tape measure, best I could find. For clarity the door seal measures lip measures 21mm square. I think that's what you were looking for. Left hand side is the same plus/minus 3mm on the door opening.

Martin

That is absolutely brilliant thankyou Thumbs Up

Yours looks to be original too which is even better. Would you just be able to confirm for me that, in your penultimate picture, the front edge of the C-pillar vertical box section is roughly aligned with the edge of the capping?

Many Thanks,

Well...I've just been outside in my bath robe with a torch and the phone. Two things happened - I found out how rusty my tub is getting and I very probably flashed a neighbour (she nearly had a stroke, but I was too quick for her, lol!)

However, I have got a photo which I think shows the detail you want.
