Make or get the loom!!! It a "night and day" difference. No pun intended...

I have stock bulb/lamps and it made night driving MUCH better. One of these days I'll get around to changing the lamps for something a little bit brighter.

I've always had good luck with stock bulbs. The osrams I used on a disco didn't last very long (less than a year).

Maybe Defender light are purposely designed by Land Rover not be to bright. I think it is for the following reason:
If you drive off-road your light will get dirty and because of the dirt your light become hot. If you then drive through deep water, a hot glass can break by the cold water.
If you redesign the loom there will be more power going to the light and so the glass will get hotter so there is more chance that the glass will break. Mr. Green Roel

The Osrams have a two year warranty in the UK, one of mine blew, Steve at AF had replacements to me within a day. 2015 RRS Autobiography SDV6

Are these ok if your defender has motorised headlights? Does that make a difference does anyone know?
