yes this happens along with various other niggles that we have to put up with I wouldn't worry about it although it is quite annoying

Yes it happens, will never creep to visible areas though.

Yes, I was told (by this forum!) that it's totally normal. Happened to ours (still is), & I too was worried that it would spread to visible areas.

And to confirm mine is also peeling
concerned at first but as advised it is only within the arch and has not spread further |

I'd hazard a guess that the insides are not primed at paint, but given a quick base coat spray over.
Could also be overspray too. |

What if Dinitrol stone chip stuff is sprayed up into the arches?

You can do that, that's what I did before applying Dinitrol.
But I made sure it was absolutely perfectly clean and as dry as you could possibly get it in mid summer first. It does indeed calm down any flying stones in the tyre tread. |
