Paint Flaking off Underneath Arch Extension!?
Is it normal for the Paint to Flake off in big pieces underneath the Plastic Arch Extensions Question
I only washed it with a Hose on low pressure?

My worry is that it will all come off the underneath & then start to peel over the lip to the Exterior part of the Arch Extension Question
And I'll then end up with Black Arch Extensions Big Cry

Rolling with laughter yes this happens along with various other niggles that we have to put up with I wouldn't worry about it although it is quite annoying

Welcome to Defender ownership, have you checked your gulleys for any other parts that may have dropped off apart from paint flakes?

Yes, I was told (by this forum!) that it's totally normal. Happened to ours (still is), & I too was worried that it would spread to visible areas.

I'd hazard a guess that the insides are not primed at paint, but given a quick base coat spray over.
Could also be overspray too.

You can do that, that's what I did before applying Dinitrol.
But I made sure it was absolutely perfectly clean and as dry as you could possibly get it in mid summer first.
It does indeed calm down any flying stones in the tyre tread.

When i did the underside of the new one, also Dinitroled the inside of the wheelbrows,

As said, they all do that, even with a hosepipe ! California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1
