Yet more Trouble (Gear Box Related)
LR fitted a New Gear Box 3 Weeks ago because of Notchyness (under warranty which has now expired whilst the vehicle was still in the work shop), first time I select Diff Lock it wont come out of it the Selector stick keeps jumping over to the left (Diff Lock Position) you go to disengage by moving the Stick to the right and it just jumps back to the left position so the Diff Lock wont release.

The New Box is even more notchy than the Old Box, I'm at the end of my tether now !!! what can I do I like the Landy but I need a Vehicle that works Day in Day out.

Please help !!

I know this sounds like a moan, but what can I do, I have lost all faith in it. Big Cry

probably you are in the situation where you need a good LR mechanic. Perhaps they did not set up well the diff lock lever. Now about the GBox, have them to check the clutch plate.

Also, check on the number plate of the Gbox. Puma 110" SW

...as well as complain til you're blue in the face. Then make sure you ring LR Cust Services and complain until you get at least £1000 in "good will" compensation to spend at your dealership and a few free services. It's what they're there for Thumbs Up
