Both replies are correct in a way, yes they will fit but the steering lock will be so poor as they will rub on the radius arms as you apply lock. Spacers needed and ideally a 16x8 rim (Boost is 16x7) Andy

I had them on 16x8 steel modulars (20mm extra offset) steering was fine due to offset, same as my 235/85s on boosts.
Back end just clipped the eyebrows and I got a few strange clunks when at limits of articulation but could never work out where. MAD COW 2007 90 Hard Top - 2009 BMW F800GS - 2002 CCM 604E Dual Sport Project90 |

I wouldn't put 285's on, rather go with 265's.

265'S Better for everyday but 285's give more clearance off road (33" tyres v 31""), if you don't like the width of 285's you can go 255/85/16 for 33" without needing the wider rims Andy

No issues with the 285's on my Boost's, with the exception of very slight rubbing when on hard lock (ie hard enough to hear the power steering pump whine).....
......and you're right...they do look better Mark 2011 110 XS DC Stornoway Grey |

Anything less than a 285 looks like a space saver now

Rather than a Space Hopper? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

255/85/R16 BFG MT for us. Steering stops adjusted so that tyres just touch the radius arms Brendan |
