Karl is that an "approved" oil, warranty wise?

Castrol Magnatec A5/B5 5w30 not A1

I wrote C1 but I was wrong, C1 spec is for the Discovery 4 Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

"... i know the oil shoulf be 5w-30 semi synthetic"

SEMI synthetic? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it was my understanding that mineral (or semi mineral?) oil shouldn't be used with DPFs.

Have used Comma X-tech for years and never had problems. Also use the castrol and Millers.

Most commercial garages use whatever they can buy in bulk drums and make the most profit on, that’s reality. If I was buying and doing my own servicing and keeping the Defender I would look into buying Comma X-tech in 20L drums for discount.
