Where to start?
My son and to a lesser extent my daughter want to get hands on with the 90 300tdi pick up and turn it into something similar to CY88’s / Derek the 90 rebuild. It is on a galv chassis, the engine has just been rebuilt and is fine. It might benefit from a new turbo in time but otherwise is mechanically sound. So the questions I’m getting are ‘Dad where do we start.....can I strip the interior....have you ordered the paint stripper yet.....can we unbolt the truck cab this weekend’.

It’s a respray, new two piece doors, new half rear door, full soft top fitting and a bit of an interior refresh (dash recover and seat covers, cubby box)

I get the need for a plan but not sure what is item no 1...

Thanks

Add up the cost of all the parts and work out how long it'll take them to save up their pocket money... Whistle Darren

Fair one. They’ve both been saving up birthday / Christmas money and the princely sum of £2.00 a week from their grandmother. Fortunately the eldest is only 13 so there is plenty of time to work / save! Thumbs Up
