I've just bought a brand new 110 Utilitywagon and it has the rear side step fitted and they didn't charge me £90 for the utility conversion panels.

The boot and whole interior does come with a headlining and carpets, well on an XS it does.

All the plastic interior mouldings in the boot compartment remain in place, including the grab handles for seats 6 and 7.

its weird, I have lists that show:

2009 price list (same price):
XS SW: £24,800.43
XS Utility: £24.800.43

2010 April price list (utility surcharge)
XS SW £25.006.17
XS Utility: £25074.26

So maybe when you said you did not get charged extra, its just that the base price was more to start with?

Seen something that suggests in future SW will be the more expensive? (Utility does not get cheaper as its less components and cheaper to make, they just put up SW price of course!) Disco 3 gone but the memory of the bills remain...
XS 110 Utility maybe one day..... (did they fix the quality yet?)

I picked up my 110 XS Utility Wagon in March, it also has a rear step. Build date was 28/01/2010.
It is the same as 110 XS SW, except no third row seats, seat belts and rear windows. All interior carpet, interior panels etc are fitted as per a SW. Stealer did not itemise costs so I'm not sure on an extra charge for utility conversion.
N1 tax class and fully VAT claimable under UK tax rules. Its a great vehicle. Thumbs Up
FYI. I am an NFU member and got an extra 5% discount on top of stealer deal. Thumbs Up Paul

Pondering a New 90 Commercial
2020 Evoque
* 2014 110 SW JE Stage 2.
*2010 110 Utility. JE Stage 2.
*2007 110 SW
*2003 90 JE Stage 2.
*2000 90 SW

If its not leaking it ain't full.

Your all queuing up for Utilities this year! Laughing

Weird, cause pricelist says:
Quote:
UTILITY WAGON OPTION PACK - Includes VIN plate vehicle and vehicle reclassification change to N1 light commercial vehicle. Deletes rear 1/4 windows and rear side windows replacing them with metal panels. Deletes rear folding step.

Clearly no one told the boys on the assembly line Laughing Disco 3 gone but the memory of the bills remain...

My understanding from the briefing was that in taxation terms although all Defenders 11MY will be N1 classified, the SW will still be a passenger vehicle in terms of benefit in kind, so for a company vehicle the utility still works out cheaper to run. Simon S

Also - Anyone know exactly how the 11MY side steps have changed in appearance? Is it the actual steps that have changed or the XS protection bar/step too?? Simon S

"redesigned side step mouldings to comply with Exterior Protection legislation", so sounds like XS steps, mouldings could be metal or plastic I suppose, sure regs are online, what sort of protection, pedestrian impact? might mean metal parts are covered somehow?

You have an MY11 order in? Did you have any issues with dealer missing info or details? Have option prices changed like the base prices? Going Friday hopefully for a chat with stealer... Disco 3 gone but the memory of the bills remain...

OTR price changed from £29,870.00 to £29,995.00, can't see them charging you the difference!

You could be one of the first then, they start building them in July though I thought, did they give you an estimated delivery date yet?!

(edited for typo, £29K not £26K!) Disco 3 gone but the memory of the bills remain...
