England 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
as they say - every day is a school day.

have to say no longer does def feel incredibly heavy and lethargic and the performance between 2-3k is brill and this partly goes back to my comment of it being one of the best defs around, serveral have commented on how well it drives with the transmission feeling tight and new like. foot to the floor in 3rd between 2-3k is an absolute eye opener and I have no doubt has surprised several other road users recently

Very Happy

re; the 600 miles possible threads etc I can feel at least one more coming on and a few updates (sorry) - gonna wait till I have some long back to back journeys lined up as I genuinely feel that in excess of 611 miles is possible.

- If I can get a pass out I'd very much like a day trip to Bournemouth both cos I like the area, enjoy the route via Sailsbury and could perhaps buy a fellow def2 member a drink Thumbs Up

No worries. Got a mate in Birmingham that is looking to move to Bournemouth. Seeing where he lives I must admit it's a great idea! Anywhere would be better, Syria, Lebanon, Beirut.............

that's why I got a def....it's like a war zone up here - perhaps should have bought a snatch instead.......and that's why I got the re-cal to improve my get away odds.

Shocked

I wish you'd not shown me that.....do the air bags get controlled via the ECU and should there be a warning light on the dash?

glad the cliff didn't give way while I was 'off roading'......anyhow off in the motor shortly for another lovely smooth and swift drive Thumbs Up

The only airbags you'll find in a Defender will be if you've left a load of empty carrier bags in the vehicle after a trip to Tesco's. Steve.
