Few pics ...

First is in the central position. 2nd, 3rd and 4th are all in 4th Gear. Last one shows the height!

What does it do?
Is it just because you put the pivot point higher that your gearstick movement is shorter? Roel

Yeah, it just creates a short shift essentially. More distance between the 2 pivot points with some CNC spacer blocks in between.

Fairly simple, but IMO, fairly effective!

Not really had need to contact him directly. Just bought online and it turned up about a week later! Sorry that's not of much help!

This is my rattle ...

Notice near the end I start playing with the stick to find the quiet spots ...

Going to have a play with the bias springs over the weekend. I'm almost certain that should do it!

May also do the plastic bush to as I just realised how it pops out ... Not how I expected or tried!

Slick shift from Synchro Gear boxes
E mailed Shabs 3 weeks ago, got a response straightaway-that they would be available in September-see they are available on his web site today, so just placed order

Price has risen to £75 but now includes nylon cup, and now allows you to keep your original gear stick I do my thing and you do yours. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine

Materials have been improved by quite a bit and the machining of the shifter is far more than before (and to better tolerances) to allow the wear spring to be utilised as well as the original lever utilised. The nylon cup is also included in the price.

Got and fitted slickshift today, happy with quality and improvement in shifting.

No vibration as mentioned earlier.

Takes a little bit of fiddling to get the bias springs how you want them, other than that straight forward fit.

Fitted mine last week and must say it makes quite a difference to the gear change, its a very short precise gear change compared to the stick in the bucket gear change it was before.
Fitting only took 10 mins and I also had a play with the spring which took out the slack.

Also repainted the gear shift as it was badly worn,

Well worth the money in my opinion.

Just fitted one of these today.. What a great improvement!!! i can really feel the tightness shifting up through the gears.

I do need to play with the adjustment as the downshift from 4th to 3rd has always been bad for me (assume it is just my gearbox) and now with a much shorter throw it feels a little more pronounced but that is because i was so used to where in amongst the bucket of options previously to push the stick.. You need only two tools in life: WD-40 and duct tape.
If it doesnt move and it should: WD-40.
If it moves and shouldnt: duct tape it.

Paddocks stocking this now, more user friendly ordering process I'd imagine.
