Swapping headunits..
Thinking of taking the Pioneer headunit and cd changer from the tdi and putting it in the Puma.I think I saw mentioned on this site that the Puma headunit was a Clarion. Do I just go to Halfords and get a removal tool for the Clarion ? Is it easy to get the connecting cable from the replacement headunit down behind the Puma facia and out the bottom to run to the cd changer in the cubbybox? Or do you leave this type of stuff to the mrs? Very Happy 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

i used 4 rivets pushed in to the hole to remove mine, anything like that will remove it, small screwdrivers etc.

the wiring is standard din connections, do a search on the internet for the wiring harnesses for different headunits, far cheaper than halfords and you don't get the blank expression from the staff when you ask for anything other than an air freshner
