Have a look through the wiring diagrams/info in RAVE. I think it should be possible, it may even just be a case of running the necessary wires from the sensor to the warning light.

My Td5 does,nt have a water in fuel light or any wiring to the filter ! 2005 Td5 90 XS

Interesting. They should all have it, AFAIK. Some people don't bother with it though, and replace the black wired plug for a blank white one... 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top

Also, does anyone know how the filter actually bolts to the chassis? One bolt is clearly easy, as access to behind the hole is outside of the chassis, but the front most hole is literally inside the chassis - how do you get a bolt on the back of that? 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top
