TD5 FUEL FILTER WIRING
QUESTION: I have a 300tdi 110, I want to fit the fuel sedimenter filter that bolts to the chassis in the rear wheel arch. I also have a TD5 instrument panel that I want to fit soon. Will it be possible to use the fuel water warning light on the dash for the sensor and plug that can screw on to the bottom of the filter? 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top

Have a look through the wiring diagrams/info in RAVE. I think it should be possible, it may even just be a case of running the necessary wires from the sensor to the warning light.

Interesting. They should all have it, AFAIK. Some people don't bother with it though, and replace the black wired plug for a blank white one... 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top

Also, does anyone know how the filter actually bolts to the chassis? One bolt is clearly easy, as access to behind the hole is outside of the chassis, but the front most hole is literally inside the chassis - how do you get a bolt on the back of that? 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top
