voltages look ok
long shot by is there a fan that's runs on the fridge that could be setting the volumetric sensor off sorry don't know about the switch |

there is a fan i think on the fridge and that thought did cross my mind but many have fitted here without issue i believe.
If the battery voltage does drop does the alarm/BBUS go off? if so any idea what this voltage might be? |

not 100% but think alarm should go off if disconnected not battery going flat , what if you take the fridge out ?

I'm assuming you still have the alarm coming off the starter battery. If the batteries are coupled, are you sure that the fridge etc. coming on doesn't cause a temporary voltage dip in the starter battery which triggers the alarm? Or/and, when set to automatic, the BlueSea will uncouple the batteries when the overall voltage (e.g. caused by the fridge drops). This will also muck about with the voltage of the starter. I can't remember exactly what happens when but if you haven't done so, try uncoupling the batteries.
p.s. Can't remember but don't you disconnect the batteries with the switch to the right? Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

yes the alarm comes off the starter battery, the thing is the 2 batteries should be isolated so even if the fridge is misbehaving it should have zero effect on the starter battery / alarm.. i may try physically decoupling the batteries to see if that changes anything..still its not like my battery voltages are low and the fridge doesnt really draw much current so the fridge dipping the battery voltages below whatever threshold for triggering the alarm seems unlikely to me. |
