Netherlands 2003 Defender 90 Td5 PU Caledonian Blue
The High low switch will change the throttle response.
I would investigate that further. If I remember right the throttle will be programmed for road behavior (quick response) if the connection is open. If the connection is closed It would be in Off-road mode so less sensitive response.

So check with a Nanocom or similar what the ECU thinks in what position it is. Roel

It was modified to keep it out of harms way, so cable ran to the 'pot'. This is just normally at the side of the pedal.

Early ones were two track later ones were three track. Mines a later three track. Shout if you want to try it.

Finally got around to removing the cubby box and found the hi/low plug. Bridged the contacts and throttle pedal still lazy. Next is some contact cleaner on the throttle pedal and see what gives. 1999 Defender TD5 110
