New 90 price list and options please?

Hi Guys,

I am away in OZ ATM but will be back in the UK at some point later this year.

I am mulling ordering a 90 SW before the day is gone!

Does anyone on here have access to a current price list please?

Also, are stealers still doing discounts on new orders... how much?

2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Cairns Blue

Last week, I ordered a new 90 XS hardtop [to my specifications/extras] with a good discount. However, my dealer was told that the factory has indicated that discounts on Defenders will cease at the end of March .... [but then they might just be saying that I guess]

What level of discount did you get?

I didn't think it was legal for a manufacturer to tell a retailer that they can't discount if the discount is coming from the dealer's margin. Different only if it's supported by the manufacturer; but all part of the game played by salesmen to keep the prices (and margins) as high as they can.

I'm following this thread with interest.
Did you just go to your local dealer and get the deal you wanted straight away, or did you have to get several quotes from different places first?

Well, I have dealt with the same dealer for a number of years and we 'get along' very well.

But I did also do some ringing -- and could not find any better discount.

As I said before, they confirmed that, right now, the order supply/availability is very good - but the situation is likely to begin to change next month
