I had a look Borderterrier but could only come up with this......
http://www.themanforlandrovers.com/defende...s-1108.htm A good independant may shave quite a bit off? Another thread (two years old though) regarding 24k service but no spreadsheet sorry.... http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic13671....cing+costs Wootton Bassett TH Whites also cut me a deal a while ago against an independant price I got for a service from James French, depends how desperate and busy they are. But if you don't ask you won't get. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! Try Steve Hill, Bristol. Indy though but very good and LR qualified.

As stated TH Whites price matched the independant and saved me the 80 mile round trip. Then again at them prices they could afford to give every second servicing away free.....

Get a price from an independant first and ask TH Whites to give you a reason why you shouldn't take it there and save a packet. If you can go and speak to them face to face, they're an amiable bunch and their parts department were in my opinion second to none with help.
Good luck..... Gum you're getting damn good at this search malarky...... If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

I've put a full size pdf of the spreadsheet in my galley under General.
If link works it's here: https://www.defender2.net/gallery/displayi...&pos=0 It would be a major benefit to most users if the site could host a table showing what people had paid, where and for which service. Is this possible? |

You could use Google Docs to host a shared spreadsheet that users could add data to.
Somebody would need to be the owner of the document and administrate who is allowed to edit it. I'm not sure how you would set a policy for who would be allowed to edit it...length of time as a member, no. of posts etc. http://defender90xs.blogspot.co.uk/ |

http://www.fleetnews.co.uk/news/2015/3/6/t...rol/55047/
"A regular mileage service plan covering fleets for five years and 50,000 miles will be priced £475, while companies whose cars will travel up to 75,000 miles in five years can opt for a high mileage plan, priced £659." If I'm reading this correctly then it's that price for the full term, i.e., £95 per annum if you do under 10k per annum. Are Defender owners getting ripped off with service costs? |

In short, yes!
I've just been offered the service pack on a new D4 (turned it down because I can get it cheaper anyway). £699 for 5 years/50k. £140 a service is a damn site cheaper than any Defender price! There's also similar packs for RR/RRS/Evoque etc, making Defender servicing the most expensive in the range! An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |
