Sorry not on our website yet.

We have some of the plastic wing tanks on our shelves.

If you like I could work out a price for you including carriage.

Hello,

I love my Defender 90, however I would like a longer fuel range. Is there any replacement fuel tank that could hold more "diesel" I would love to have 1,000 KM range when I fuel up.

Looking at official figures the 90 has a 60 litre fuel tank and combined fuel consumption of 10 litres/100km.

However fuel consumption is very much dependent on on driving style, vehicle condition and terrain being driven over. Low box and soft sand could easily see fuel consumption rise to say 12.5 litres/100 km or even higher.

For a range of 1,000 km that would mean a minimum of 100 litres fuel required.

The plastic wing tank which is a flow through tank holds about 30 litres and is suitable for a TDCi.

A LHS sill tank exists for a TD5 and holds about 40 litres whereas the RHS sill tank holds 50 litres.

Would these fit a TDci? That I would have to check out. Also will they impinge on ground clearance? They are a pump system rather then a flow through system.
