Water leak in footwell when aircon on

Hi

I've got water dripping into the passenger footwell from under the centre of the dashboard when the aircon is on. Could there be a drain that's blocked or something more serious? If it is a drain, how do I get to it?

the drain comes out above the gearbox

2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey

There are two seals/grommets to check, one is the water outlet seal under the heater air intake box. The second and most likely is the main water/condensation outlet seal that is located in the transmission tunnel about 200mm in front of the gear lever. Get underneath and shove your hand above the gearbox and you will feel a rubber teat, give it a squeeze and water not milk should run down your arm the latter one you can modify by cutting it to prevent it becoming blocked in future. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
