The back window in our 02' DCPU has seen better days and the glass has started to rattle in it. I had a poke around and it seem that the felt channels that the glass runs in have rotted away, the metalwork all looks fine. I have had a look around and contacted a few suppliers but none of them seem to know anything about the felt runners for the later style window. I believe the older ones were the riveted in type window whereas I think ours is bonded in. The frame is much larger profile than the earlier style which I think matched the rear side windows in 90/110 CSWs.
Has anyone managed to source any felt runners for this style of window? Cheers Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

To clarify the rear window is this style:
http://www.keithgott.co.uk/Images/Photos/P...)-big.html It looks a little like the window is riveted in from the inside of the truck (hidden by the trim panels). In which case I can remove the trim to drill out the rivets (which will remain inside the sealed window channel. Looks like it is just a case of sourcing new runners. 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |
