Cage was easy. Door surrounds a complete nightmare! Do you vertical door surround pieces match to the holes on the cage? The bottom one is way out and it looks like the bottom slanted rain run off needs bending! One for tomorrow but any tips welcome!

Hi yes I needed to bend the bottom of the door shut mine never lined up even after bending they were still 8 mm out of line with the track the rubber seal pushes onto, doesn't seem to matter as after a week of the door being shut it works a treat now with no further adjustments. Have just finished fitted the hood with the tenex fittings, you have saved yourself some grief not using them! |

Did you need to drill a new hole to fit the lower bolt from the vertical door surround so it matches up to the cage hoop?

Getting excited after 4 weeks in the body shop my complete strip down and respray is finished, I have replaced every nut and bolt replaced all the panels except the bonnet, fitted new series doors and Rocky Mountain door tops, new door hinges and bonnet hinges, windscreen hinges, fitted new grills and led headlights. It's almost a brand new 15 year old Landrover hopefully picking it up Saturday if time and will post a few pictures of the finished result, been a labour of love but to anyone thinking of doing one it's worth it.
