As above, I think you did well. How much did it cost you?

Cheers, its not bad but its not as good as I'd have liked....it cost £40 for the fabric, £13 for spray adhesive (although I only needed one and half cans and bought three) and £6 for new black fir trees, all from eBay

Don't suppose you've got a link for the trim you used?
Need to get some for my G-W. |

I ordered the "thicker, dense fabric" which in hindsight might have been the wrong choice
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321225777654?var...1439.l2649 The product I bought though was good quality its just not that easy (for me) to get into the curved shapes |

What glue did you use? Also have you fitted this in the Land rover yet, I ask as i did the same with mine and it looked great however after a few days in the heat the fabric became unstuck from the headlining, so I am yet to re do it!!

Its supposed to be high temp adhesive, when using the hairdryer to mould the fabric it got very hot and didn't seem to affect the glue so hopefully be ok, I certainly don't want to redo it |

you will probably find that it will drop in some areas where its under a lot of tention.
i am yet to find a glue that will stay stuck to the original headlining material which is why i take it off to fix new material which can cause massive problems if you dont know how to take it off without destroying parts of the headlining |

Watching this thread well to learn some trimming tips!
The G-wagen roof lining is very similar to a defender; comes out in a few pieces, but is rougher than the LR one, so the glue might stick better. |
