I would get an aftermarket one that is Thatcham approved (Cat1). LR only ever got the immobiliser approved so its Cat 2. Even though the alarm now has battery back-up as standard, it hasn't got the Cat 1 rating.
With an aftermarket you can get other toys added such as remote start-up etc |
