The garage have pressure tested the fuel pump and it turns out its that, so they are having to take out the fuel tank and install a new one. 2001 90 TD5 CSW Alveston Red Manual

I went in from the top, through the floor. Less mess, less hassle and can be done time and time again without worrying about how much fuel is in the tank.

I've been following this thread is I've got as similar situation. Anyone know how you pressure test the fuel pump? I assume it can be done insitu? Sorry if this is thread hijacking ![]() |

I wouldn't have the confidence to do that at the moment but thanks for the link I will have a read and if it happens again when its out of warranty I will have ago
